A candidate seeking admission must be born between 01/05/2009 and 30/04/2013 (both days inclusive)
NVS 6th Class Education Qualification:
Candidates appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class Vth for the whole of the academic session 2021-22 from a Govt. / Govt. aided/ recognized schools or B certificate competency course of NIOS in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
Candidates claiming admission under rural quota must qualify/ pass Class III, IV, and Vth from a Govt. / Govt. aided/ recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
In case any doubt arises about the age on the basis of certificate Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti reserves the right to refer any candidate to a MEDICAL BOARD for confirmation of the age of the candidate.
No candidate is eligible to appear in the selection test for the second time, under any circumstances.

Mode of Selection for NVS 6th Class Admission 2021–
The Selection Test will be of two-hour duration 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There is 80 question in all for 100 marks.
Mental Ability Test – 40 Question, 50 Marks (60 Minutes)
Arithmetic Test – 20 Question, 25 Marks (30 Minutes)
Language Test – 20 Question, 25 Marks (30 Minutes)
No Negative Marking will be done.
Additional time of 40 minutes will be allowed for “Divyang Students”.
