Educational Qualification:- Pandit – Only Hindu male candidates with Graduation with arts stream Sanskrit / Hindi as one of subject OR Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi.
- Granthi – Only Sikh male candidates with Graduation with arts stream Punjabi as one of subject OR Vidwan in Punjabi
- Padre – Only Christian male candidates who have been obtained priesthood by Authorized authority.
- Maulvi Sunni – Only Muslim male candidates with Graduation with arts stream Arabic / Urdu as one of subject OR Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu.
- Pandit (Gorkha) – Only Hindu (Gorkha) male candidates with Graduation with arts stream Sanskrit / Hindi as one of subject OR Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi.
- Maulvi (Shia) – Only Muslim Shia Laddakh male candidates with Graduation with arts stream Arabic / Urdu as one of subject OR Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu.
- Bodh Monk – Only Buddhist male candidates with Graduation and having Monk / Buddhist Priest by the appropriate Authority/ Monastery.
